The trade

One team from mitigation through reconstruction.

Restoration is the trade where the handoff between vendors goes wrong most often. Mitigation crews finish the drying, hand off to a general contractor for reconstruction, and something falls through the cracks — usually a wall that never quite gets put back right, or an insurance claim that stalls between the two invoices.

Servbon runs mitigation and reconstruction as one workflow, one project manager, one closeout. When our crews dry the space, our crews put it back together. The insurance adjuster deals with one company, not two.

Every mitigation follows IICRC standards. Every reconstruction is documented for your insurance claim. Emergency response is 24 hours, 365 days. When something happens overnight, you are not waiting until Monday morning.

When people call us

Real tickets we see most weeks.

Six real ticket types we see most weeks. Same dispatch process for all of them.

01

Pipe burst overnight, water throughout the office, need mitigation now.

02

Kitchen fire, smoke damage in the dining room, insurance adjuster tomorrow.

03

Roof leak went unnoticed for weeks, ceiling tiles are stained and there is mold above.

04

Storm blew a window out over the weekend, contents are soaked.

05

Sewage backup in the basement, need Cat 3 mitigation and full sanitization.

06

Insurance approved the claim but the mitigation company is stalling on reconstruction.

Emergency response

24 hours, 365 days. We are on the way.

Water damage compounds every hour it sits. Mold begins growing inside 48 to 72 hours. Smoke damage becomes permanent when it settles into porous materials. Every hour of delay increases the ultimate restoration cost. Servbon responds 24 hours, every day, with mitigation crews that can start the same night.

  • 24-hour dispatch, every day, no exceptions
  • Mitigation crews on site within our stated response window
  • Insurance adjuster coordination from the first phone call
Compliance & documentation

IICRC standards, insurance-ready documentation.

Restoration insurance claims fail more often over documentation than over the work itself. Adjusters need moisture readings, photos, scope of loss documented in specific formats, and clear before-and-after records. Missing any of it stalls the claim.

Every Servbon mitigation follows IICRC standards. Moisture readings logged, drying equipment placement photographed, and scope documentation prepared in the format your carrier's adjuster expects. Reconstruction phase inherits the same records.

Why Servbon for this trade

What sets our restoration crews apart.

01

One team from mitigation to reconstruction

Same company that dries the space rebuilds the space. No handoff between vendors. No wall that never quite gets put back.

02

Insurance-ready from hour one

We work directly with adjusters from your carrier. Moisture readings, scope of loss, Xactimate estimates — all in the format your carrier expects.

03

IICRC certified, not just cleaned up

Water, fire, and mold restoration all follow IICRC standards. Not a general handyman with a shop vac.

04

Content pack-out and storage in-house

When contents need to leave the space to be cleaned, dried, or protected, we handle the pack-out, storage, and return. Chain of custody documented.

Our approach

How a restoration job moves through Servbon.

Every ticket follows the same four steps. Same dispatcher, same account, same closeout format.

Step 01

Emergency response

24-hour dispatch, mitigation crew on site within our response window. Extraction and initial drying starts immediately.

Step 02

Scope and documentation

Full scope of loss documented, moisture readings logged, adjuster coordination begins. Insurance claim starts on solid documentation.

Step 03

Mitigation and drying

IICRC-standard drying with monitored equipment. Daily readings until dry standard is met. Contents pack-out if needed.

Step 04

Reconstruction and closeout

Same team rebuilds the space to pre-loss condition. Final walkthrough, punch list, and closeout documentation for your insurance file.

Common questions

Questions we hear about restoration.

Do you work with my insurance company?

Yes. We work directly with all major commercial carriers and their adjusters. Documentation is prepared in the format your carrier expects, including Xactimate estimates when required.

How fast can you respond to an emergency?

24 hours, 365 days. Mitigation crews are on site within our stated response window for your area. Same-day extraction in metro service hubs.

What about mold?

Mold remediation follows IICRC S520 standards. Containment, removal, air scrubbing, and clearance testing coordination. If your insurance requires third-party clearance, we coordinate it.

Do you handle reconstruction, not just mitigation?

Yes. The same team that mitigates the loss handles reconstruction through to final walkthrough. Not a handoff between vendors.

Can you coordinate with a third-party industrial hygienist?

Yes. For mold, asbestos, or other environmental concerns requiring third-party assessment, we coordinate directly with the hygienist your carrier or attorney selects.

What about content restoration?

Yes. Contents pack-out, off-site cleaning, storage, and return delivery. Chain of custody documented for insurance purposes.
